Work continues on the MRD exhaust mods. The e.g.t. bung has been welded up to the head pipe now and I've just finished polishing the tubing. The horn has been re-located, as well as changes to the battery box supports. The new carb needle should be here tomorrow so we should be ready for the first test soon. I'll post up some "installed" pics tomorrow of the pipe. Changing oil myself tomorrow also, Silkolene pro 4. The other day I changed the data logging display to show me % t.p. instead of engine vacuum.

Nothing today, but yesterday was an 85 mile "shakedown" run, and an attempt at NJ state inspection(they failed me for fascimile insurance documents....so now i have to wait til the ins co. sends out the official ones and go back to station)

I put on my DRC Edge taillight and MOTOLED rear turn signals, started breaking in my new Tech7 boots....my Trailtech X2 HID will arrive Tuesday, and if I am realllllly lucky, I will have my SSW pipe from MRD by weeks end(I am proly not that lucky though)

Immediately next on the list is an upper triple clamp from Applied for 1.125 bars, new bars for those clamps, and new springs to match my very manly mass.

I think you hacked off the helmet lock, too! Your bike looks cleaner every time I look at it.

I never use my helmet lock, so I've been thinking about practicing my Dremel skills.

That's one of the only benefits to this nanny state. We have no compulsary insurance on motorcycles. Whee, own as many bikes as I want, and no monthly payment!

It can be removed with out permanent sub frame whacking via the tamper proof bit in your tool box.

I rode about 50 miles of two track and single track trails today (plus about 40 miles of dirt/pavement). My butt is whooped. Then I gave her a bath (mainly to get all the mud out from inside the skidplate) so I could change oil.
