Just got a 2010 drz400sm, loving it so far. Colder mornings are coming and I'm thinking of some heated gear.

In your experience, what would be the max wattage for accessories over the stock load for lights etc?

The specific jacket liner I'm looking at is rated at 76 watts. From what I've researched this may be too much without making some modification (headlight off switch, LED conversions etc...), but some people indicate it's fine.

Please submit any photos this month, as I would like to have a product available for shipment in November.

In order to provide some detail about the photo, please try to include as much detail as possible. If possible, include the date and time of the photo, geographic location (GPS coordinates are nice), information about the weather, and anything else you feel would benefit the shot. I will do my best to handle any file formats; JPEGs are less likely chosen than RAW or TIFF, due to compression. Please do not embed your files in the email message, but rather send them as attachments. ZIP files are alright, and remember that higher resolution is always better. Don't forget to include your name, forum name, address, and telephone number (if selected, I will need to know where to send a finished calendar).

He was on the fence because of the weather so we weren't sure we were going until that morning. Otherwise I would have posted this up, sorry. Ended up being a good ride and got good intel for future ride. Only got rained on a little.

Started out in Snohomish. I was excited to see if this set up would help me wheelie better!



Was a little surpised to have couple ATV's pull up for gas! Oso gas station









Dan getting himself some fresh water to drink. Can you say intestinal distress!!! :eek: Actually he didnt end up drinking it. Used it to put out fire. :D




Found a nice camp spot off of Illabot Creek. Yes we are packing. Seriously there are meth heads in the WA woods so come prepared.




The trick for DRZ camping is to have a store fairly close. We got some supplies for the night.


Thought about trying this log crossing but then I came to my senses. I dont think the wet log with wet moss on it was favorable to an SM. I am certain I would have taken an unwanted dunk.





This owl kinda freaked me out. It flew right up on us :eek: and from about 10 ft overhead and just sat there watching us as we gathered wood etc. If you took your eyes of him you could feel him watching. It was just odd. I am used to wildlife going the other direction when they see people. I guess we were in his woods and he was just making sure we knew it.


We got bored so we made some spears. Spent a couple hours trying to hit a beer can. The end result was Dan might have been able to make it as a caveman. Me, I wouldnt have made it. This was one of my throws. I suck at spear chucking! :D

Spears can do other things as well.






Last park we hit before railing home. Think it was near Darrington. I have never been to a park where they had stuff to practice your axe throwing or log climbing! I couldnt help but think about Monty Python's, "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok." :clap:

Ended up being about 300 mile trip. I couldnt get the entire route on one screen shot without losing some detail. So this starts just south of Arlington.
